The Data innovation summit is a yearly event organized by The Data Science Community. This event – gathering data scientists, startups, professionals interested in Data innovation, universities, government, etc. – deals with topics such as Data Innovation, Digital Transformation, analytics, Big Data and Data for Good initiatives.
The theme for this year is Data for Good. Therefore, you can expect speakers covering Data for Good activities and meeting like minded people. For data experts interested in networking, this event is also a great opportunity to share and learn more about ideas and experiences related to Data for Good.
Last year, the event gathered 500 people and 68 inspiring speakers. This year, the organizers already announced 40 speakers who will share with us their ideas and views through short presentations (about 5 or 12 minutes). The keynotes will be followed by a networking session at the end of the day.
As usual, the event will take place in Brussels. This year it will be held in ING’s building (24, Avenue Marnix 1000 Brussels).
To book your seat, please visit the page for the event on Eventbrite. Prices start at 75€ for students and range from 125€ for early birds tickets to 250€ for executive business tickets. Note that you can get 50€ discount for any type of reservation if you fill in a short survey (I did it and it took less than 10 minutes to complete).
If you wish to be a speaker and present the positive impact of your recent data science projects you can fill in the call for speakers form. Don’t wait too long as the final selection will be made by mid-January.
